Grown on the Rodriguez family farm called Finca La Linda, this lot is made up of the Java variety, which traces its lineage back to Ethiopia by way of a Dutch colony on the island of Java where it was first transplanted. It’s an unusual variety with a unique bean shape and a distinctive cup profile, in this case expressing itself as delicately herbal and nutty.
